Terms of Use

Last updated: 4 October 2026. These terms cover the EditCurve Mac app and editcurve.com.

Trial

You may download and use EditCurve free of charge for as long as you like. Videos exported by the trial carry a visible watermark.

Licence

Buying a licence key grants you a personal, non-transferable right to use the app, with the watermark removed, on up to three Macs that you use. Updates to the app are included. You may not share, resell or publish your key.

Payments

Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record; their terms apply to the transaction. Prices include applicable taxes where shown at checkout. The site buy button opens their checkout.

This website

The marketing pages, download, support form and private stats dashboard are provided as-is. Do not probe, scrape or attack the site. Support messages must use an email you can read; we may ignore abusive or automated mail.

Accounts

You do not need an account to use EditCurve; a licence works without one. If you create one, keep your password to yourself and give an email address you can read. You are responsible for what is done with your account. Link only licences you bought or were given. We may suspend an account that is used to abuse the site, other people or the service, or that breaks these terms, and you can ask us to delete yours at any time through support.

Saving and sharing your work

A licensed account can save components and project files from the app. You agree to these rules each time you save something:

• It must be yours to share. Upload only work you made or have the right to use and share, including any pictures, video or sound inside it.
• Nothing unlawful or harmful. No illegal content, nothing that infringes anyone's rights, no malware, and nothing hateful, sexual involving minors, or meant to harass anyone.
• Limits. Private items count against your account's storage (250 MB unless agreed otherwise). Single files and components have size limits, and files must be what their names say. We may refuse an upload that breaks the limits.
• Sharing. A share link lets anyone who has it view and download the item, and signed-in people comment on it. Turn the link off, or make a new one, from your account at any time.
• Submitting to the stock library. A component you submit is reviewed before anyone else sees it. If we approve it, you allow Logic Alliance Ltd to host it and offer it free to EditCurve users to use in their own projects, credited to you, for as long as it stays in the library. You keep ownership. Ask through support to have it withdrawn.
• Removal. We may remove anything that breaks these rules and suspend the account that uploaded it. You can delete your own items at any time.

Privacy

How we handle data is in the Privacy Policy, including UK GDPR rights and the choice in the banner at the bottom of the page.

No warranty

The app and site are provided "as is". We work to keep them reliable, but we cannot guarantee they will be error-free or suit every purpose. To the extent permitted by law, Logic Alliance Ltd is not liable for loss arising from their use. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer in the United Kingdom.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date above tells you when. Continued use after a change means you accept it. English law and the courts of England and Wales apply, without limiting any mandatory consumer forum you have.
